چکیده
Although polymer-based self-lubricating materials have rapidly developed recently, intelligent lubricating with self-adaptable lubrication external conditions changing are highly demanded, especially for harsh conditions. Herein, a shape memory epoxy resin based on the biphenyl units (BPEP) tunable tribological behavior was systematically studied. X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscope (SEM), laser confocal three-dimensional profiler, and optical were applied to analyze friction wear mechanism. Due presence of specific structural units, which could be performed switching phase between crystalline amorphous, that allows self-assembly polymer chain under π–π interaction. As result, improving mechanical properties enable BPEP perform outstanding in wide temperature range, coefficient (COF) can tuned range 0.10~0.175 by adjusting temperature. The effect refers modulus heat conversion during morphing, thermal observed physicochemical varying changing. BPEPs drives self-compensation so low rate (6.94 × 10−5 mm3 N−1 m−1) at 110 °C obtained. superb this broaden application scope polymers materials, it is expected guide future studies regulating behavior.

This study presents a new approach to control the nonlinear dynamics of an adaptive absorber using shape memory alloy (SMA) element. Shape memory alloys are classified as smart materials that can remember their original shape after deformation. Stress and temperature-induced phase transformations are two typical behaviors of shape memory alloys. Changing the stiffness associated with phase tran...
